If we lose we are nothing says Marey

Marey feels the importance of today's game

Male', MALDIVES - Vyansa coach Marzooq (Marey) stated the most important match of this season for them will be the one they play today against arch rivals Maziya. Though Maziya lies way behind Vyansa in the table, Marey believes Maziya is better than Vyansa and noted if they lose today, they have achieved nothing in this season.

“For us this is the most important match of the season. If we lose today, all the success we had so far will be nothing” He said.

“So we have to win today’s game”

Marey has the fear that some of his players may opt for more individual game rather than going for a team work game, because Maziya is a team of their level.

“Maziya is a team of our level and I am afraid some of our players may try to show their individual skill rather than a good team play”

“But if we play like how we played against bigger teams, we can win”

Vyansa shocked bigger teams in the league and Marey keeps in mind the same type of results Maziya achieved so far in the league. He also suggests Maziya is a better side than Vyansa and added they entered the league in a better position than Vyansa

“They entered the league in a better position than us. We shouldn’t forget how they beat New Radiant and VB sports in round and the narrow win Victory had against them”

“We may have won against bigger teams, but Maziya is better than us. If we keep that in mind we may win today” He added.

Vyansa is clean from suspension, but some injury issues still make Marey uneasy ahead of vital clash.

“Sung is still injured but he will play. But Sirhaan will be sidelined” He said.

After their glorious win against New Radiant, Marey has been explaining his players the importance of today’s game and how the result of today’s game will shape their name in the future.

“I told them if we lose today, we may not reach top four and if that happens, no one will remember us and all we did in this season would be nothing”
